PURPOSE: To prevent the breakage of a lock claw by an external force, by forming the lock claw to have inner and outer rings divided plurally, in a pipe coupling furnishing a lock claw to block the movement in the pull-out direction of a pipe inserted in the coupling main body, by encroaching its inner end edge to the outer wall of the pipe. CONSTITUTION: When a pipe 38 is inserted in a coupling main body 11 from the direction of an opened cylindrical body 26, the pipe 38 moves while expanding the inner side ring 119 of a lock claw 112 against the elastic force of connections 120. Since the outer peripheral edge of the pipe 38 is bent in the inserting direction side of the pipe 38, the movement of the lock claw 112 together with the pipe 38 is blocked, and the lock claw 112 is abutted obliquely to the outer wall of the pipe 38 thereafter. When the pipe 38 is tried to pull out under such a condition, the inner rings 119 encroach to the pipe 38, so as to prevent the removal of the pipe 38. Furthermore, the lock claw 112 is made to avoid the stress concentration to the connections 120, by forming the outer cutting parts 113 in a U-shape. |
