PURPOSE: To provide a method for gardening terrestrial plants on a water capable of freely planting various terrestrial plants in a two or three dimensional spread on the water for beatifying a park or a water side. CONSTITUTION: This method for gardening terrestrial plants on water comprises planting the roots of a terrestrial plant 2 to a light weight pot 1 loaded with a porous substances, floating the light weight pot planted with the terrestrial plant 2 so that its floor surface is positioned higher than the water level, installing a means for sucking water from the water surface by utilizing a capillary phenomenon and supplying it to the porous substance in the light weight pot, and grounding the terrestrial plane 2 over a shelf having a net shape 3A, 3B and spread over the space on the water surface from the vicinity of the light weight pot. |
