PURPOSE: To obtain a lipoperoxide increase suppressor which contains fructo- oligomer having the excellent effect of suppressing the increase in lipoperoxides and is useful in prevention of cancers, arteriosclerosis and aging. CONSTITUTION: This lipoperoxide increase suppressor contains fructo-oligo- saccharides. This suppressor can be given in the form of granules, capsules, tablets and also can be taken as a food product, as a flavor or a food additive. The amount used is 50% or less, preferably 1-20%. It is also used daily in a domestic flavor, coffee or black tea as a substitute for sugar. |
