PURPOSE: To produce the subject antistatic material useful as stationery, etc., used in a hospital by coating the top surface of a substrate with a coating agent containing an antimicrobial and antifungal agent in a mixture containing a specific cross-linking compound, a compatible compound and a quaternary ammonium salt compound and irradiating the coating agent with electron beams. CONSTITUTION: The top surface of a substrate 2 is coated with a coating agent 10 containing an antimicrobial and antifungal agent 16 containing at least either of 3-iodo-2-propynylbutyl carbamate and N,N-dimethyl-N'-phenyl-N '-(fluorodichloromethylthio)-sulfamide in a mixture containing a cross-linking compound having >=2 acryloyl groups without any hydroxyl group in the molecule, a compatible compound having >=1 acryloyl groups and >=1 hydroxyl groups in the molecule and a quaternary ammonium salt compound having >=1 acryloyl groups in the molecule and then irradiating the coating agent with electron beams. Thereby, a cured film of the coating agent is formed. |
