PURPOSE: To obtain an oligomer-trouble preventing agent effective for preventing problems caused by polyester oligomers in or after dyeing by compounding a specific compound and a fatty acid ester of an alkylene oxide-added polyhydric alcohol. CONSTITUTION: This oligomer-trouble preventing agent for polyester fiber is produced by compounding (A) at least one kind of compound expressed by formula [R<1> is an 8-22C aliphatic alkyl or alkenyl; R<2> is a 2-4C alkylene and at least 50% of R<2> is ethylene; Ar is a residue obtained by removing carboxyl group from an aromatic carboxylic acid; M is H, an alkali metal atom, an alkaline earth metal atom, NH4 or an organic amine; (m) is 1 or 2; (n) is an integer of 5-50; (l) is 0, 1 or 2] with (B) a reaction product obtained by adding an alkylene oxide to a fatty acid ester of a polyhydric alcohol such as castor oil added with 40mol% of ethylene oxide at a weight ratio (A:B) of (5-50):(95-5). The preventing gent is added to a dyeing bath at a ratio of 0.1-1g/L and a cloth is dyed at a bath ratio of 1:(3-3) at 100-140 deg.C. |
