<p>PURPOSE: To sufficiently remove the sludge of even filter media hidden inside of an anaerobic filter bed type septic tank holding the filter media with filter medium press plates and filter medium receiving plates by making the rising rods erected from about the middle of the front surfaces of the filter medium press plates freely movable in the vertical direction. CONSTITUTION: The filter medium press plate 2 in the first chamber of the anarobic filter bed of the anaerobic filter bed type septic tank is bisected at about the middle and is constituted to both filter medium press plates 2a, 2b. The two filter medium press plates 2a, 2b are pivotally fitted freely oscillatably at about their middle and a rising rod 10 reaching a manhole is erected from the pivotally fitted part. Incidentally, the filter media 4 are internally clogged and gradually the sewage flows hardly when the sewage treating device is used over a long period of time and, therefore, the periodic suction of the sewage is required. In such a case, the filter media 4 hidden inside are vigorously oscillated and the sludge sticking to the filter media 4 is removed and dropped under the filter medium receiving plate 3 by repeating the vertical motion of the rising rod 10. As a result, the rate of removing the sludge is improved.</p> |
