PURPOSE: To obtain a novel fluorophthalocyanine compd. which, when used in a write-once read-many optical disk, such as a compact disk, exhibits excellent absorption wavelength, sensitivity and lightfastness and offers excellent profitability for the production of a disk. CONSTITUTION: This compound is a novel fluorophthalocyanine compd. represented by formula I. In formula I, X represents formulae II, III or the like (wherein R1 and R2 each represents a 1-20C alkyl group), (a) represents any one of 1 to 5 substituents, Y represents formulae II, III or the like or a halogen atom, Z has the same representation as Y or a 1-20C alkyl-contg. amino, anilino, or nitro group, (n) is 0 to 3, and (m) represents a metal, an oxymetal or the like. The phthalocyanine compd. can be prepared with a good productivity according to a scheme disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Nos. 173710/1986 and 274125/1992. This dye can be synthesized under controlling absorption wavelength an has high solubility in an org. solvent. |
