PURPOSE: To obtain a color forming method capable of controlling a hue to an arbitrary color such as red-green and black at a time of color development by properly selecting color forming environment in a color forming system changing a coupler by using a certain specific dye. CONSTITUTION: In a color forming dye wherein the difference between the max. absorption wavelength in m-cresol and that in 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoro-2- propanol in a visible part is 40nm or more, the intensity ratio of two wavelengths is adjusted to develop an arbitrary hue. |
