PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and functionally stable sheet singling-out device capable of reliably incorporating an automatic operation process into a work period of a paper delivery device. SOLUTION: In an individual sheet delivery device in a paper delivery device of a sheet-fed rotary printing press having a chain delivery, gripper bars 4 extending transversely to the sheet-transport direction are arranged on a revolvingly driven conveyor chain, and gripper claws 5 are mutually installed at intervals on these gripper bars. These gripper claws have an adjustable control means for delayed sheet release. An individual sheet delivery device is composed of revolvingly drivable suction belts 7 actuated by suction air, and these suction belts suck a single sheet released with delay to be transported to a single sheet depository 11 movably installed in a machine frame 1. The suction belts 7 are arranged in a high position so that an upper side surface for sucking the single sheet released with the delay comes between the gripper claws 5.
