<p>PURPOSE: To provide a casting plan supporting expert system capable of automatically realizing the casting plan to plan the layout such as a runner, a gate, and a mold. CONSTITUTION: The data are classified into five kinds of knowledge such as the shape and the number of a gate and a runner from the casting plan with experiences in the past, and registered in a knowledge base part 35. The restriction of production such as the shape and number of the master mold is inputted,by an input part 29. The respective knowledge comprises a plurality of knowledge cards, and employment of the knowledge card is judged by the shape of the main mold, the restriction of production, and whether or not the item of determination of the already employed knowledge card agrees with the condition of restriction of the knowledge card, and judgment is successively made for each knowledge card. When judgment is made for five knowledge, and employment is determined, the layout of the runner, the gate and the master mold is simulated, a checking is made whether or not the layout is projected out of the plate corresponding to the plan area of a sand mold, and the procedure is completed when no projection is made.</p> |
