PURPOSE: To provide a reduced taper pipe fitting, made of fiber-reinforced resin through a filament winding method and excellent in resistance to weeping, and the manufacturing method for the same. CONSTITUTION: A reduced taper pipe fitting, formed by filament winding method and having sockets 12, 13 at both ends of the taper tube 11, is specified so as to have a taper angle (angle between the axis of tapere tube) of 5-30 deg. at the taper tube 11 while an expandable fiber-reinforced resin layer 2 is provided integrally with the internal surface of the taper tube 11. Upon filament winding, a feed eye is moved toward a mandrel side vertically (Z) to a mandrel shaft when the feed eye is turned in the reciprocating running of the same to hook fibers to retaining pins at respective ends of the mandrel. |
