摘要

PURPOSE: To provide a thermal recording material excellent in recording running properties and the preservability of a recording image against chemicals such as a plasticizer or the like. CONSTITUTION: In a thermal recording material wherein a recording layer containing a colorless or light-colored basic dye and a coupler and a protective layer containing an aq. high-molecular compd. are successively provided on a support, polypropylene wax with an average particle size of 0.5-5μm is added to the protective layer in an amt. of 0.3-10% by wt. of the total solid of the protective layer.
