PURPOSE: To provide an offset printer and an offset printing method which can prevent the lowering of printing quality and remove an organic solvent in a roll transfer body without the necessity of a complicated structure or increase of price. CONSTITUTION: In a printer and a printing method in which ink 2 on the surface of a block 1 is transferred on the surface of a transfer sheet 10 placed on a metal roll 5, and then the ink 2 on the surface of the transfer sheet 10 is transferred to a body 6 to be printed, printing is carried out by using a roll transfer body 8 of a structure of laminating a rubber-like elastic body 11 with a net- shaped sheet 12. For removing an organic solvent, the transfer sheet 10 is removed from the metal roll 5 and dried, and then printing is repeated. |
