PURPOSE: To prevent dew formation from being generated and further prevent a celing from being stained with water droplets by a method wherein water droplets generated when cold water air flowed from an indoor device of an air conditioner is cooled are received in a water tank, a temperature of water is increased by hat of a water- proof heat generating machine and water filled in the water tank is overflowed and discharged out of the device through a drain pipe. CONSTITUTION: Water droplets generated when air is cooled by cold water flowed out of an indoor device 14 of an air conditioner are received in a water tank 1, an amount of water is detected by a float switch, a relay is electrically energized, a water-proof heat generating machine heater or the like is electrically energized through a relay terminal to increase a temperature of water. Then, in order to avoid an increasing in temperature more than that required, the electrical energization is turned off by a thermostat with a temperature fuse, its ON-OFF state is repeated to keep the temperature constant. Water filled in the water tank 1 is discharged out of the device through a drain pipe by an over-blow 3. ON-OFF of the device is informed by a pilot lamp for its operation. Then, a lid is installed at the water tank 1 so as to enable its inspection to be carried out. |
