GRANULATOR FOR MULLED MATTER OF INCINERATION ASHES

PURPOSE: To prevent fissures in a granulation state by action of compressive force on mulled matter of incineration ashes and to granulate the mulled matter having adequate strength and compactness by forming tapered nozzle parts and nozzle straight pipe parts in die holes for extruding and granulating the mulled matter. CONSTITUTION: The mulled matter of the incineration ashes is introduced to a die plate 31 side after the end of shearing and mulling and is extruded from the die holes 32, by which the mulled matter is formed to bar-shaped extrudates 10B. The die holes 32 are composed of nozzle cylinders 33 having flanges 33a on the outer peripheries. These nozzle cylinders 33 are fixed by a pair of fixing plates 34A, 34B pinched from both front and rear faces sides by utilizing the flanges 33a. In the meantime, the tapered nozzle parts 32a gradually reduced in the diameter toward the outlet side are formed on the inlet side of the die holes 32 and the nozzle straight pipe parts 32b communicating with the outlet holes of the nozzle parts 32a are formed on the downstream side thereof, on the inside surfaces of the nozzle cylinders 33 in which the die holes 32 are formed. As a result, the compressive force is acted on the mulled matter by passing the mulled matter through the nozzle parts 32a.
