PURPOSE: To abrade a specimen without skill and much labor, by deciding an abrasion pattern based on the classification of the specimen, and selecting a grinding wheel in accordance with the abrasion pattern to control pressing and rotation devices. CONSTITUTION: An abrasive pattern, in accordance with the material of a specimen TP, is selected to be inputted in a control device 50. A grinding wheel (any of 21-24) to be used in accordance with the abrasive pattern is selected to be faced to the specimen TP. A pushing down cylinder 16, in accordance with a selected grinding wheel, is driven to lower a base plate 13, and also a motor is driven to rotate the grinding wheel. The grinding wheel is pressed to a part to be abraded by the energizing force of a spring 18. The motor is driven to make a grinding wheel, abutting on a base plate 10, that is, a part to be abraded via a screw beam, be reciprocally moved mincingly right and left to abrade a given abrasion area. Fluid (air and water, etc.) is sprayed to a part to be abraded via a fluid supply path 8 provided on a stage 6. |
