PURPOSE: To set a precharge time properly by setting the precharge time by operation pressure generating means generating operation pressure to be supplied to frictional elements based on a specified pressure generated by pressure generating means generating a specified pressure through regulation of the discharge pressure of an oil pump. CONSTITUTION: When a shift command is outputted, in a controller 300, the base flow rate passing a duty solenoid valve DSV when the valve is fully opened is obtained from a map according to a line pressure. An oil temp. compensation coefficient is then read from the map, the compensation value of flow rate is obtained by multiplying the base flow rate by the coefficient, and the compensation flow rate is calculated to calculate the total flow rate. Precharge control is carried out until the total flow rate exceeds a specified value. The precharge time is set based on the specified pressure and compensation is made according to the temp. of operation oil, while precharge is stopped when change in the turbine rotation speed caused by shift operation is detected. |
