FIELD: instrumentation engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed liquid level gauge can be used in automatic systems testing, controlling and regulating parameters of industrial technological processes, specifically, for measurement of level of oil products in reservoirs of oil storages. Liquid level gauge incorporating gauging pulley, float coupled to pulley with the use of steel tape, mounted in guides and conjugate to them by means of ferromagnetic lugs, balancing mechanism in the form of spring of constant moment and ballast in the form of permanent magnets mounted for translation in guides is chosen in the capacity of prototype. It is suggested to manufacture ballast in proposed liquid level gauge in the form of weight of specified mass suspended uniaxially to float in flexible elements anchored in ballast wheels put on axle fitted with stopping mechanism. This helps to decrease time required to re-adjust mass of float which makes it possible to use proposed liquid level gauge both as stationary and as portable measuring instrument. EFFECT: increased timeliness of determination of quantity of checked liquid. |
