PURPOSE: To improve workability and to reduce an installing space by simultaneously carrying a plurality of shafts having different lengths in a shaft carrier. CONSTITUTION: First long and short shaft holding arms 111 and 112 for holding long and short drive shafts 11a and 11b are moved to a transferring/receiving position and a working position by a vertical cylinder 109, and to a standby position and a working position by a horizontal cylinder 105. In addition, second long shaft holding arms 131 and 132 and second short shaft holding arms 133 and 134 for holding the long and short drive shafts 11a and 11b are freely transferred and received between the first long shaft holding arm 111 and the second long shaft holding arms 131 and 132 by a vertical cylinder 129 and freely moved in a shaft carrying direction by a moving mechanism 129.
