PURPOSE: To obtain a lubricating oil for refrigerator comprising a specific fluorosilicone compound, excellent in solubility in substitute cooling medium, lubricity, low moisture absorption, etc., and useful for electric refrigerators, compression type refrigerators for air conditioners, etc. CONSTITUTION: A lubricating oil for refrigerators comprises a fluorosilicone compound wherein (A) (A1 ) a group of formula: R<1> -X<1> -f -X<1> f is a monovalent polyfluorohydrocarbon group; X<1> is a divalent hydrocarbon group), (A2 ) a group of formula: R<2> f -X<2> -O-X<3> -(R<2> f is a monovalent polyfluorohydrocarbon group containing an ethereal O; X<2> , X<3> are X<1> ), or (A3 ) R<3> f -X<4> -O-X<5> -(R<3> f is R<1> f ; X<4> , X<5> are X<1> ), and (B) a group of formula: R<1> -O-(A-O)p -(Ar)r -R<2> -[R<1> is H, an alkyl, an aryl (alkyl); R<2> is X<1> ; A is a 2-4C alkylene; Ar is an arylene; p is 1-50; r is 0, 1], are bound to Si of the silioxane (e.g. a compound of the formula X<15> is CH3 O(CH2 O)5 [CH(CH3 )CH2 O]3 -}). |
