发明名称 FORMATION OF ALLOY LAYER
摘要 PURPOSE: To easily form a zinc coating layer by mixing specific amounts of zinc powder of specific grain size with a solution of organic high polymer compound dissipating by thermal decomposition, applying the resulting mixed solution to an iron bar, and then heating the bar up to a temp. not lower then the melting point of zinc. CONSTITUTION: A zinc powder of <=10μm average grain size is mixed by 60-80wt.% with a solution or colloidal dispersed solution of organic high polymer compound. The resulting mixed solution is applied to the surface of a bar composed of iron and iron alloy. The bar is heated to a temp. not lower than the melting point of zinc powder to make the zinc diffuse and penetrate into the surface of the bar. When the average grain size of the zinc powder exceeds 10μm, sedimentation is liable to occur in the case where the zinc powder is mixed with resin solution and, further, the thickness of an alloy layer becomes nonuniform. When the amount of the zinc powder to be mixed esceeds 80%, the amount of resin becomes too small and the ability of sticking film becomes insufficient. By this method, the coating layer of zinc and alloy layer can be formed while obviating the necessity of equipment for exclusive use for plating, vapor deposition, thermal spraying, etc.
