PURPOSE: To provide an interior decorative material enabling foaming suppressing technique and not generating the environmental pollution caused by the generation of toxic gas or smoke at a time of combustion. CONSTITUTION: An alkyl acrylate resin layer 2 containing a foaming agent is provided on a fire-retardant base material 1 and, after desired patterns are printed thereon using general ink 3 and foaming suppressing ink 4, the resin layer 2 is foamed to obtain a foamed decorative material having embossed patterns. The alkyl acrylate resin layer 2 is composed of an alkyl acrylate copolymer resin with a polymerization degree of 1000-3000 obtained from an alkyl acrylate or methacrylate monomer having a 1-8C alkyl group and a monomer of 3-9Cα,β-ethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acid having one or more free carboxyl group as a resin component.
