摘要 FIELD: heat-power engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cooling towers in which evaporation of water in the flow of atmosphere air is used for cooling heat carriers circulating in heatsink systems of various objects. Water to be cooled received from a consumer of cold is first fed into surface heat exchanger 2 where it is cooled to a transitory temperature and then enters lower collector 3 with spraying nozzles, sprayed along the air stream and wets surface heat exchanger 2. Water drops, moving in the space between surface (2) and contact (4) steps, cool off because of evaporation and simultaneously cool air being in contact with them and thereby cool heat exchanger 7. Upon diurnal lowering of atmosphere air temperature, for example, in night time, compressor 9 receiving gaseous hydrate former from receiver 8 raises hydrate former pressure in accumulator 7 resulting in increase of hydrate former temperature to 15-17 C and therefore in accumulation of cold reserve due to transfer of heat from accumulator 6 through gravitation heat pipes 12 to heat exchanger 7.
