FIELD: concentration of minerals by gravitational- centrifugal methods of extraction of valuable minerals and gold from ground ores and metal-bearing sands. SUBSTANCE: separator has pulp receiver with adjustable slit-type pulp discharge opening, screw trough of uniform diameter with coils making 0.5-0.8 of trough diameter. Number of coils is 3-5. Profile of trough includes inner side with height making 0.1 of trough diameter and has inclined surface defined by rotation of straight line descending at angle of 10-20 deg from axis to horizontal line along spiral line. Water-discharge chute formed as spiral tape is rigidly inserted into inclined surface at a distance of 0.1 of trough diameter at an angle of 90 deg to generatrix. Edge of water-discharge is positioned 5-10 mm below top surface of inner side. Inner side and water-discharge tape define screw-type water channel. Inclined descending surface is abruptly discontinued at a distance of 0.2 of trough diameter and is continued with ascending profile positioned at an angle of 5-10 deg and extending through arc of radius making (0.8-1) of trough diameter. Outer side has working rounded surface with radius of 0.1-0.05 of trough diameter, which is smoothly conjugated with curved ascending profile. Height of working part of profile is 0.1-0.2 of trough diameter. Line of intersection of inclined surface of inner side and curved surface of trough profile bottom forms location place for concentrate splitter, which is formed as short flat inclined chute positioned in discharge end of trough. Remaining part of discharge end of trough is connected with tailings receiver. EFFECT: simplified adjustment and splitting of concentrate, increased efficiency in extracting valuable components and wider operational capabilities. |
