PURPOSE: To improve a video printer film by incorporating in a coated layer formed in the manufacturing process of a biaxially oriented white polyester film having minute voids and satisfying two formulas simultaneously, a polymer having nitrogen element, polyester, etc., and a melamine-based crosslinking agent contained therein. CONSTITUTION: A coated layer formed in the manufacturing process of a biaxially oriented white polyester film having very fine voids and satisfying formula I and formula II simultaneously is provided at least on one face of the film. The laminated film for a video printer is provided with the coated layer containing (a) a polymer having an ionized nitrogen element in its main chain, (b) at least one kind of polymer selected out of polyester, polyacrylate, polyurethane, and a chlorine-containing polymer, and (c) a melamine or epoxy- based crosslinking agent. The formula I is 0.6<=ρ<=1.2 and the formula II is b<=1.0. In the formulas, ρ represents the apparent density (g/cm<3> ), and (b) represents (b) value. |
