PURPOSE: To obtain a new unsaturated ethylenic copolymer having excellent weatherability, heat resistance and ozone resistance and high vulcanization rate. CONSTITUTION: This copolymer is a random copolymer of (i) ethylene, (ii) a 3-20C α-olefin and (iii) at least one kind of straight-chain or branched-chain non-conjugated triene or tetraene having one vinyl group in one molecule. The ratios of (i) the constituent unit derived from ethylene, (ii) the constituent unit derived from the 3-20C α-olefin and (iii) the constituent unit derived from the non-conjugated triene or tetraene are 30-92mol%, 6-70mol% and 0.1-30mol%, respectively. The molar ratio of [(i) the constituent unit derived from ethylene]/[(ii) the constituent unit derived from the 3-20C α-olefin] is 40/60 to 92/8 and the intrinsic viscosity [η] of the copolymer measured in decalin at 135 deg.C is 0.05-10dL/g. |
