摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To enhance traveling stability by arranging a controller to control its fastening force in an optimal value on the basis of a speed difference between front and rear wheels by putting it in a four-wheel drive mode by actuating a clutch mechanism so that prescribed fastening force is generated. CONSTITUTION: A controller 45 excites an electromagnetic coil of a multiple disk clutch 9 in order to perform switching to four-wheel high speed drive and torque distribution control by input of a transfer mode signal, and increases and decreases its electric current quantity on the basis of detecting values of wheel speed sensors 43 and 44. Operation processing is performed on input information of the wheel speed sensors 43 and 44 by an operation processing part 47, and an optimal electric current quantity to be supplied to the electromagnetic coil is determined. For example, when a speed difference exists between front and rear wheels, it is regarded as a slip is caused at traveling time, and the voltage duty ratio becoming fastening force of the multiple disk clutch 9 such as eliminating this is determined, and is outputted to the electromagnetic coil from an output part 48.</p>
