PURPOSE: To obtain a butt-welding machine having a heater equipped with a cushion material reduced in the rebounding by an impact by providing a rubber or plastic cushion material having heat resistance and elasticity between the stopper stopping the rising of a hot plate at a housing position and the hot plate. CONSTITUTION: Silicone rubber has heat resistance and, after heating up, a hot plate 14 is raised by the action of a coil spring 15 to be held between a stopper 21 and a block 22 to be compressed. Then, the hot plate 14 is elastically deformed to absorb impact energy at a time of collision. By the way, a silicone rubber sleeve 23 characterized by that length is 70mm, an inner diameter is 15mmϕ, an outer diameter is 30mmϕ, hardness prescribed by JIS.A is 50, tensile strength is 50kgf/cm<2> and elongation is 200% is used and the rebounding quantity of the sleeve after heating up by the coil spring with strength of 4.9kgf is 62mm. |
