摘要

PURPOSE: To obtain a cutting surface having no cutting end step difference when chamfering is performed by using a chamfering machine of a butt fusing machine to fuse plastic tubes together in succession by butting them against each other by performing heating melting and a heating hold by a heater after chamfering is preformed on tube end surfaces of the plastic tubes by the chamfering machine. CONSTITUTION: A rake angle of an edge of a cutter 8 of a chamfering machine having the cutter 8 driven in rotation by a motor is set in 15 deg. to 20 deg., and a relief angle is set in 2 deg. to 8 deg., and a tube end surface of a plastic tube is strongly pressed against a butting surface 12, and cutting is performed.
