PURPOSE: To assemble a pin rack by means of caulking, not by welding, inexpensively and uncurvedly. CONSTITUTION: A line segmental pressing surface 31 of a rocker pressing rod of a caulking machine rocking around an axial line L of a pin is rolled around the axial line, and the pin is rolled to a diametral widening part 18 lying between the pin and bars 5, 6 and filled up with pin material by such rolling compressive working as pressing two truncated conical ends 12 and 13 of two small diametral parts 9 and 11 being projected from each end face becoming the outside of bars 5 and 6 with each other. An apex of a conical body 26 equipped with a conical surface consisting in an aggregation of the line segmetal pressing surface and an angle made by a sectional form of the conical body 26 cut in a plane inclusive of the axial line 25 is set to 2θ, and when an angle being composed of the axial line 25 of the conical body 26 and the axial line L of the pin is set toα, an equation ofα=π/2-θcomes to fruition.
