PURPOSE: To provide an air bag device facilitating bag body assembling work without the fear of gas leakage. CONSTITUTION: An air bag device is provided with a housing 10 with a storage part 30 or the like formed to store an inflator 20, a bag body 50 provided with an opening part 51, and reinforcing cloth 60 having an overlap part 62 with an opening part 61 adjusted to the bag body opening part 51 and fitted to a bag body opening peripheral edge part 52 and also having a free part 63 continuous from the overlap part 62. In the state of both opening parts being adjusted to the gas discharge opening 34 or the like of the storage part 30, the reinforcing cloth 60 is disposed along the external wall of the storage part 30, and the free part 63 of the reinforcing cloth is fixed to the housing 10. |
