PURPOSE: To obtain a suede-tone cloth having washable surface effect by subjecting a cloth composed of a fibrillating conjugate fiber to raising, fibrillation, application of heat-resistant polymer and raising and dyeing the raised cloth with a jet dyeing machine. CONSTITUTION: The objective suede-tone cloth is produced by weaving a tricot satin using a binary-component fibrillating conjugate fiber composed of nylon 6 and polyethylene terephthalate as a front yarn and a polyester fiber yarn as a back yarn, raising the front and back faces of the tricot satin with a card clothing raising machine, fibrillating the fiber by a fibrillation agent such as benzyl alcohol, thoroughly washing the cloth with hot water to remove the fibrillation agent, immersing the cloth in a dimethylformamide solution of a heat-resistant polyurethane, coagulating the polyurethane resin in water, sanding the raised face of the cloth with a belt sander, etc., and dyeing with a jet dyeing machine. |
