PURPOSE: To prevent the sagging of ink associated with the attachment/ detachment of an ink cartridge, to be good-looking, and to prevent operator's hands, clothes, etc., from staining. CONSTITUTION: In a sealing member 7, an ink sealing part 9, when an ink cartridge 14 is not set, surrounds at least an ink introduction part 2a, its cross- sectional form is a thin plate form, and its opening part is formed to oppose the ink supply port 14a of the cartridge 14. Besides, the periphery of the ink sealing part 9 is deformed inversely associated with the setting of the cartridge 14, and when the cartridge is set, its inside part, which is kept to be contacted with the inside surface 14c of the ink supply port 14a, is put into the cartridge 14 to seal the inside surface 14c of the ink supply port 14a by an inverted peripheral surface 9a. |
