<p>PURPOSE: To clarify the manual paper feed timing and surely feed paper sheets one by one by providing a display means displaying that the paper sheet is completely fed from a single manual insertion unit, and displaying the manual paper feed timing for setting the next paper sheet to the single manual insertion unit. CONSTITUTION: When the use of a single manual insertion unit 8 is specified, a display means H displays whether a paper sheet 10 exists in a single manual insertion unit 8 or not via the control of a manual insertion paper presence/ absence sensor 22 and a manual insertion paper feed controller. This display means H is turned on when the first paper sheet 10 is fed and passes through a gate sensor 24 with no size error, and it is turned off when the next paper sheet 10 is inserted into the single manual insertion unit 8. When the state of the gate sensor 24 is not changed to the no-paper state, it is judged that a paper sheet different from the specified paper sheet 10 is inserted into the single manual insertion unit 8 by a user, a paper size error signal is generated, and the printing action is interrupted.</p> |
