METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RLEASING COATING PLASTIC OF PLASTIC-COATED STEEL TUBE

PURPOSE: To be able to effectively reuse by easily releasing plastic and a steel tube and to effectively use resources by injecting high-temperature wet hot air to a plastic-coated steel tube to set the coating plastic to melted wet state, and releasing it from the tube. CONSTITUTION: A plastic-coated steel tube 13 introduced into a rotary drum 2 is heated with uniform steam of high-temperature wet hot air 10 while being rotated, the coating plastic 14 becomes melted wet state at the heating temperature with high-temperature moisture with the steam, and releases from the tube 15 by its swelling releasing action to be separated. The separated plastic 14 and the tube 15 are gradually moved to a discharge port 12 while being further rotated in the drum 2. Since many dropping holes 11 of the plastic 14 are provided at the lower wall surface of the drum 2, the plastic 14 is dropped from the hyperelliptic holes 11 and the tube 15 is dropped from the port 12 to a lower receiving box truck 16 of an apparatus trestle 7.
