<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a phospholipid useful as an active ingredient or an additive of a medicine or a food by drying a raw material containing docosahexaenoic acid at a low temperature and then extracting it with a solvent at a high concentration of docosahsaenoic acid and at a high efficiency. CONSTITUTION: This method for producing a liquid containing docosahexaenoic acid comprises drying a raw material containing docosahexaenoic acid at a low temperature of <=70 deg.C, especially at (-)60-70 deg.C, e.g. by methods of a lyophilization, a vacuum drying and at a low temperature/low humidity drying, then extracting it by an organic solvent (e.g. an alcoholic solvent such as methanol, isopropanol and octanol, a chlorine-based solvent such as chloroform and methylchloride, hexane and acetone) or a mixed solvent of the organic solvent with water at e.g. 0-70 deg.C.</p> |
