FIELD: plastic materials industry. SUBSTANCE: claimed invention describes process for preparing foaming self- extinguishing polystyrene. Use of the claimed process makes it possible to reduce self-extinction, improve melt index and relative viscosity by block polymerization followed by suspension polymerization on suspension stabilizer in the presence of initiator and blowing agent by using antipyrene mixture in certain weight ratio.
