PURPOSE: To provide a floor material for stairs which can be used without anxiety against missing one's step or stumbling in darkness, by sticking the material on a stair. CONSTITUTION: The front end edge 1d of a flexible sheet 1 provided with protruding patterns 1a, 1b, 1c on the surface is bent downward and a nearly belt- shaped light-accumulation zone 1f is formed along the bend 1e. Visible beams are emitted gradually out of the light-accumulation zone if in the dark to inform of the front end position and the level differences of respective steps. |
