The bar (1) is made in a flexible elastomer material and its height (7) is at least one third greater than its width. It has slots (4) in its upper and lower surfaces (2,3) in which the strings (5) are held. The upper and lower surfaces are curved to improve their rigidity. Near each longitudinal end of the bar (9,10) there is a hollow (11) to make the ends more flexible. A weight (6) is joined to the lateral part of the bar. Each slot can have shallower slots (12,13) on either side to form lips (14,15) to grip the string.
