Motorcycle windshield protecting at least driver's upper body

The windshield (7) on a motorcycle protects at least the motorcyclist's upper body from the wind. At least one channel (19) is incorporated in the windshield taking air from lower down and deflecting it upwards. The air leaves the channel near the upper edge (16) of the windshield. Pref. the channel exit is formed as a slit and can be adjusted between open and closed. The adjustment can be achieved manually or automatically dependent on driving conditions. Pref. the air inlet is branched with a further air channel passing air to be heated by the engine.
