Adjusting roof able to be raised and closed

An adjusting roof has a raising and lowering section (4) which moves relative to a main part (3), and has a tensioner (5) located with both sidefaces (5A), and a front and rear face (5B,5C) between the moving and main parts. The tensioner is opened centrally in the vertical direction, from one of the sidefaces, over the front or rear face and as far as the other side. The tensioner is able to be closed again. A net (18) may be provided which covers a part of the tensioner, and extends along a closure part (17).
