An apparatus for mounting a mold box (12) on a machine for forming molded concrete products includes a mold defining a cavity for receiving cement having a pair of opposed side plates (16, 18) and a pair of opposed mounting brackets (20, 22). A mold support frame (14) is further included having a pair of opposed side beams (42, 44) and a pair of opposed end brackets (46, 48), with a connecting device for mounting the support frame (14) on the machine. A pair of opposed substantially parallel slots (62, 64) is formed on the support frame side beams (42, 44) and a sliding plate (70) is receivable in the slots (62, 64) and slidable therealong. A slot (34) is also formed on one of the mold mounting brackets (20), such that the sliding plate (70) is receivable in the slot (34) formed on the mold mounting bracket (20).
