A scratch off game card includes first and second sections. The first section (10) is provided with a first set of game data (24) covered by a substantially opaque scratch off material (12). The second section (13) is provided with a second set of game data (22) covered by a substantially transparent material. The game card has provided thereon a patch of marking formulation (21) for marking selected areas of the second section.
