DISPOSABLE APPLICATOR

A disposable applicator (10) has a base piece (14) and an impregnated pad (12) attached to the base piece. Handle (16) has a first handle piece (18) hingedly attached (20) to the base piece, and a second handle piece (28) that is not attached to the base piece (14). A swivel gap (38) separates the second handle piece from the base piece (14). The first and second handle pieces (18, 28) are collapsibly interconnected with one another such that the second handle piece (28) may be rotated to a collapsed position in which the second handle piece (28) is substantially juxtaposed to the first handle piece (18) with both handle pieces extending almost within the same plane. The handle pieces may then be folded together onto the base piece (14) so that the applicator may be enclosed in a plastic packaging (40).
