A thief-proof device for motor vehicles comprising: a metal bar (A, B) with adjustable length. One of the ends (B) is hook shaped. The other end (A) juts out from the steering-wheel to prevent steering-wheel rotations wider than small angles; two jutting small arms (D) which clasp one of the spokes of the steering-wheel; a metal plate (E) which covers the central part of the bar (A, B) and protects the spoke to which the thief-proof device is fixed; a metal collar (C) which clasps the peripheric part of the steering-wheel; a lock which locks the collar (C) to the bar (A) in the thief-proof device fastening position.
