In a satellite communication device mounted on a mobile body and having a receiving antenna (RXAT) and a transmitting antenna (TXAT) separately, the receiving antenna is subjected to closed-loop control performed by using a reception level detecting section (RXDT), a tracking angle calculating section (CMP), a tracking angle outputting section (OUT), a motor driver (RXMD), a motor (RXMR), etc. The transmitting antenna (TXAT) is subjected to open-loop control which forces the antenna (TXAT) to follow up tracking motion of the receiving antenna (RXAT) by using the tracking angle outputting section (OUT), another motor driver (TXMD), another motor (TXMR), etc.
