The device consists of a deposition head (1) whose roller (12) for driving the filament (yarn) (10) and the deposition wheel (15) are coupled together via an idler (intermediate) gear (18) which can be retracted in order to uncouple (disconnect) them from each other, the said deposition head (1) being able to move translationally with respect to the head/delivery-machine interface, complementary means (4) providing variable pressure of the deposition head on the form.
