<p>A pigment dispersion composition for filling an aluminum or aluminum alloy oxide film, comprising at least a pigment, a pigment dispersant, a water-soluble organic solvent, and water and containing a water-soluble amine and/or a derivative thereof. The particles of the pigment can fill the fine pores of an aluminum film to the depth to give a clear film excellent in weather-fastness. Further, the above composition can repeatedly be applied to the oxide film for coloring and the pigment deposited on the non-pore area of the surface of the film in the electrophoresis step can be wasted off merely by dipping in still or running water.</p> |
