The bolting mechanism is for a wooded or metal garage door. It has a box (3), containing components, coupled to the components (2,6,8,13) by a weld seam, while its side flap (4) is hinged for alternating connection to the box. A compact bolt (1) is held by the box components (2) and carries a screwed stop. There is a follower (5) coupled to the bolt by an 8 mm pin, and having two left-hand side threaded bores, while on the right-hand side there is only one threaded bore.
