Automatically adjusting driving mirrors for motor vehicles
摘要
The driving mirrors are fitted with adjusting servo motors controlled by a programmed processor. Monitors on the seat adjustment controls provide a first set of position signals. Sensors in front of the driving position monitor the position of the driver's head and automatically set the programmed optimum settings for the interior driving mirror and the two external mirrors. The sensors for the driver's head include IR sensors for the actual skin position and laser sensors for additional accuracy. The sensors monitor the static position as well as the movements of the head. Light sensors on the mirrors are used to operate an automatic dipping control to prevent dazzle.
